Background
At 8:00 p.m. James McKensie was feeding hogs on his farm north of Casstown, Ohio, when he heard an odd noise like a flock of geese passing overhead. Looking up, he saw an object with wings and a rudder flying slowly about 150 feet in the air, and he distinctly heard music. As it disappeared, he thought he heard a human voice, and something large and white was thrown overboard. The report appeared in the Cincinnati Enquirer on 16 April 1897. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
