Stockholm, Sweden: US legation member sees silent ghost rocket falling over the city
At 2:30 p.m. on July 9, 1946, a member of the US legation saw a silent ghost rocket falling rapidly over Stockholm, Sweden, as reported in a State Department telegram by Christian M. Ravndal.
Background
At 2:30 p.m. a member of the US legation saw a silent ghost rocket falling rapidly over Stockholm, Sweden. It appeared to be a bluish flying cigar whose length was 10–12 times the diameter of the full moon. Hundreds of other observations took place over central Sweden. State Department official Christian M. Ravndal reported the sighting to Washington, D.C., in a telegram of July 11 and suggested that the Soviets were trying to intimidate the Swedes. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
