Background

At sunset, Henry Seay, a farmer living 2 miles north of Fayetteville, Arkansas, watched three yellow discs fly overhead toward the southwest, dropping sparks and frightening his cattle and horses. The following night it happened again, and the cows panicked and ran to the other side of the pasture. Some kind of dust fell on Seay but did not burn. After several seconds the object rose vertically 30โ€“40 feet and shot off horizontally at about 50 mph. The case was reported in the Northwest Arkansas Times on 7 July 1947 and is listed in Ted Bloecher's report on the 1947 wave. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
