Background
At 9:00 p.m. a green fireball was sighted in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma. Capitol Airways pilot H. R. DeHoney was flying at 11,000 feet about 20 miles south of Flagstaff, Arizona. He watched the object speed by as a bright blue-green ball that left a streak of brilliant red fire. Newspapers in Albuquerque and Santa Fe reported the sighting, and Life magazine included it in its April 1952 article "Have We Visitors from Space?". The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
