Albuquerque, New Mexico: Reporter Doyle Kline sees cluster of glowing objects form a V
At 9:50 p.m. on July 29, 1952, Scripps-Howard reporter Howard Doyle Kline saw a cluster of glowing white objects over Albuquerque, New Mexico, shifting into various patterns including a perfect V.
Background
At 9:50 p.m. Scripps-Howard reporter Howard Doyle Kline saw a cluster of glowing white objects overhead in Albuquerque. The objects shifted into various patterns, at one point a perfect V, and he described their changes of position as incredibly swift and fantastically violent, saying the sighting made a flying saucer believer out of him. He reported the incident to Lincoln LaPaz, meteoriticist at the University of New Mexico, and to Col. William A. Matheny, commander of the 34th Air Defense Division. The report, probably one of those used in Maj. Dewey Fournet's motion study, is missing from the Project Blue Book files. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
