Background

At 6:30 p.m. USAF pilot Capt. Edward E. Dougher and WAF Lt. Josephine J. Stong, separated by one mile on the ground in Wiesbaden, Germany, saw four bright yellowish lights. Dougher watched them separate, two climbing and two flying away level in the opposite direction. His wife Barbara joined him as they flew away. Stong saw two reddish lights fly in opposite directions for 10 to 15 minutes. NICAP lists the case as separated witnesses observing maneuvering lights. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
