Background

Two Air Force aircraft, a T-33 and an F-94B, the latter flown by Capt. E. T. Johnson with radar observer Lt. H. S. Norris, got a momentary radar lock on a strange object above Goose Bay, Labrador. The crews saw a bright red and white light. Eberhart cites the NICAP case page "Momentary Lock On", Brad Sparks' list of Blue Book unknowns, the Condon report (pp. 126–127) and Martin Shough's NARCAP radar catalogue RADCAT. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
