Palomar Gardens, California: Adamski says scout ship returns film holder, takes photos
On the morning of 13 December 1952, George Adamski said his scout ship appeared a second time at the Palomar Gardens Café in California, where a film holder borrowed by Orthon was pushed out of a porthole; the photos taken there are disputed as showing a model.
Background
George Adamski's scout ship made a second appearance, this time at the Palomar Gardens Café in California, ostensibly so that Orthon could return the photo he had borrowed; the film holder was pushed out of a porthole to the ground. One of the three Venusian photos, credited to Jerrold E. Baker, was according to the entry taken secretly by Adamski the day before, probably of a model. Bill Moore claimed in 1985 that the photos resemble the prototype vehicle described in Mason Rose's February 1952 paper on the Biefeld-Brown effect, and Joel Carpenter suspects the scout ship is a Sears and Roebuck gas lantern lampshade. Rene Erik Olsen published analyses of the 13 December 1952 photos in 2019. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
