Punta Alta, Argentina: Argentine Navy sets up temporary UFO inquiry commission

In 1952, the Argentine Navy established a temporary inquiry commission dedicated to the UFO phenomenon. The commission was based at the Puerto Belgrano Naval Base in Punta Alta, Argentina. The entry relies on Milton Hourcade's 2020 article on Argentine UFO declassification for the U.A.P.S.G.–G.E.F.A.I. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
