Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico: Five persons at US Army post watch fireball cross the base

At 11:30 a.m. on 8 April 1953, five persons at US Army Fort Buchanan in San Juan, Puerto Rico, observed a fireball moving rapidly above the base. The FBI office in San Juan reported the observation to the FBI Director on 28 April 1953 under the heading 'Unidentified Flying Object Observed'. The report is part of FBI file 62-HQ-83894 (section 7) in the PURSUE release. The account follows the entry in George M.
