Background
Between 8:15 and 8:30 p.m. Air Force weather observers at Lubbock, Texas, noticed a V formation of 5–7 dull white lights sweeping from north to south. Within three seconds the formation moved from a point overhead to 3° above the horizon, where the lights disappeared. Other groups of two or more lights followed at intervals of about 5 minutes. The Civilian Saucer Investigations Quarterly Bulletin reported the case under the title 'Lubbock Lights Repeat'. The account follows the entry in George M.
