Gjersjøen, Norway: Object stops car, occupants feel shocks, paint later found green
At 6:30 p.m. on November 28, 1953, Trygve Jansen and two other witnesses driving on the Gamle Mossevei road near the Gjersjøen bridge in Norway saw an object circle and follow their car.
Background
Trygve Jansen and two other witnesses were driving north on the Gamle Mossevei road at the Gjersjøen bridge when they saw an object rise from behind a hill, swing out over the lake and move back to the road, circling and following their car. It suddenly stopped and hovered above the road 30 feet in front of them, emitting a green light. Jansen stopped, and all three experienced mild electrical shocks until the object rose and disappeared. When he returned home, his wife pointed out that the car's beige paint had turned bright green. Norwegian newspapers reported the case in July 1954. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
