Cincinnati, Ohio: Driver sees dark body in pulsating halo hover over GE plant

At 3:57 a.m., John H. Stewart was driving north on Paddock Road in Cincinnati, Ohio, when he saw a bright halo of pulsating, bluish-white light moving slowly south. Inside the halo was a dark, ellipsoidal body that seemed solid and made no sound. The object hovered for 7–8 minutes above the General Electric plant; Stewart put its size at a half dollar held at arm's length and its altitude at 2,000–3,000 feet. It then moved east, changed color to yellow and then red, and disappeared straight up. The account follows the entry in George M.
