Shirley's Bay, Ontario: Project Magnet gravimeter records unusually strong deflection
On August 9, 1954, at 3:01 p.m., the gravimeter of the Project Magnet station at Shirley's Bay, Ontario, registered a greater deflection of the gravitational field than a conventional object would cause.
Background
At 3:01 p.m. the gravimeter at the Project Magnet station in Shirley's Bay, Ontario, indicated a greater deflection in the gravitational field than a conventional object would cause. Eberhart calls it Project Magnet's only UFO incident of note. Heavy clouds obstructed Wilbert B. Smith's view of the sky. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
