At 8:30 p.m. on September 18, 1954, many people in Danané, Ivory Coast, saw a round glowing object approach and hover above the town.
Background
A round, glowing object was seen approaching and then hovering above Danané by many people, among them the Catholic priest Fr. Myard, the local chief of police, a Dr. Mariani, a businessman named Sory Diallo and a group of women. At 9:05 p.m. the object moved again, changed from a circle to an ellipse and flew away.
