Background
At 6:45 p.m. on October 1, 1954, Bernard Devoisin and René Condette were bicycling west of Ligescourt in the direction of Vron, Somme, France. They saw a glowing orange object shaped like a beehive in the middle of the road. A small entity about 3 feet tall and dressed in a 'diving suit' was standing close to it. When the two came within 200 feet of it, the object took off at great speed. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
