Forêt de Lusigny, France: Walker sees oval object at treetop level and feels intense heat
On the afternoon of October 7 or 8, 1954, Roger Réveillé saw an oval object about 20 feet long at treetop level in the Forêt de Lusigny, Aube, felt intense heat accompanied by thick fog, and afterward found the ground beneath it dry despite rain.
Background
In the afternoon Roger Réveillé was walking in the Forêt de Lusigny, Aube, France, when he heard a rustling noise. He looked up and saw an oval-shaped object about 20 feet long at treetop level. At the same time he felt an intense heat that also seemed to create a thick fog. After a few minutes the object disappeared upward, but the heat continued. Although it was raining, the ground underneath where the object had been was dry. Libération-Champagne reported the case on October 11, 1954, and it was later catalogued by Aimé Michel and Jacques Vallée. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
