Background

Around midnight Renzo Pugina had just put his car in his garage at Parravicino, Como, Italy, when he saw a humanoid about 4 feet 3 inches tall in a scaly, luminous suit standing near a tree. The lower part of its body was shaped like a cone. It aimed a light beam at Pugina that briefly paralyzed him; he could only move some fingers, but with concentration managed to clench his fist on the garage keys in his hand. Freed from the paralysis, he ran to attack the intruder, which fled with a soft whirring sound. A police investigation found a spot of oil at the location. Eberhart cites Jacques Vallée's Passport to Magonia, Loren E. Gross and Roberto Pinotti. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
