Tehran, Iran: Ghaseme Fili sees masked figure in glowing object, feels pulled up
Early on October 8, 1954, Ghaseme Fili on Amiriyeh Street in Tehran, Iran, saw a glowing white object hovering about 65 feet from his balcony with a small masked figure inside; he felt drawn toward it until neighbors gathered and it left.
Background
Early in the morning Ghaseme Fili (or Ghasim Faili), residing on Amiriyeh Street in Tehran, Iran, was on his second-floor balcony when he noticed a glowing white object hovering about 65 feet away. It emitted lights from its rear and sides, and inside he could see a small figure dressed in black with a mask or breathing apparatus resembling an elephant's trunk. Terrified, he suddenly felt as if he were being drawn up toward the object, but he shouted, neighbors gathered and the object took off straight up, releasing sparks. Eberhart cites Ettela'at of October 12, 1954, and Gordon Creighton in Flying Saucer Review (1967) and notes that later sources add some dubious details. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
