Background
While traveling from Caracas to La Guaira, Venezuela, Jesús Gonzales Perez and his family saw a cigar-shaped object moving horizontally over the hills on the horizon. The object resembled a dirigible with three to six clearly visible rectangular windows along its side. It moved slowly at an estimated distance of about 10 miles, appeared to be about 10 feet long and was dull aluminum in color. The object had no protuberances, made no sound and remained in sight for about two minutes. The APRO Bulletin reported the sighting in July 1956. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
