Villamassargia, Italy: Luminous globes circle a 60-foot cigar-shaped object
At 10:30 p.m. on 10 October 1956, stockbreeder Giuseppe Fenu and other witnesses near Villamassargia, Sardinia, saw luminous globes and then a luminous cigar-shaped object about 60 feet long, around which the globes began to circle.
Background
At 10:30 p.m., stockbreeder Giuseppe Fenu was returning to his home near Villamassargia, Sardinia, Italy, when he saw a luminous globe moving from north to south. It suddenly vanished over the horizon, and three more globes appeared in formation. About 30 minutes later, Fenu and other witnesses saw a luminous cigar-shaped object about 60 feet long with a bluish strip running along its perimeter, intersected by vertical bands like "grid holes." The globes began to circle around the large object. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
