Gesten, Denmark: Merchant sees glowing triangle low over a field with two figures inside
On November 21, 1957, merchant Hans Haugaard Hansen, driving from Gesten toward Egholt, Denmark, saw a silent, red-orange glowing triangular object low over a field, with two figures visible inside.

Merchant Hans Haugaard Hansen was driving out of Gesten, Denmark, on the road to Egholt when he saw a triangular object moving low over a field some 300 to 600 feet away. It emitted a red or orange light and made no sound. The bottom of the object was solid and the upper part transparent, and he could see two figures inside. He stopped the car and watched it move at about 40 mph. Similar objects were seen at Jordrup and Vorbasse, and Lt. Col. Hans-Christian Petersen of the Danish Air Force took the reports seriously.
