Background
At 8:43 p.m. a witness in Woodstock, Illinois, saw a large, red, triangular object with a green light in the front and a yellow light in the rear. It made a low droning sound and moved from west to east. Woodstock police officers and another individual in Genoa City saw the same object. At 10:15 p.m. an amber or orange UFO about 200 feet long was seen for five minutes at Delavan, Wisconsin. Project Blue Book attributed the reports to an aurora or a jet aircraft. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
