In 1957 the Victorian branch of the Australian Flying Saucer Research Society became a separate organization under the name Victorian UFO Research Society. The society published the Australian UFO Bulletin from 1957 to September 2007. The bulletin was edited by Les Bristol. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
