Nelson, New Zealand: Couple sees bright-red triangle with white lights over Tasman Bay

At 7:15 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. B. Mills were driving on St. Vincent Street in Nelson, New Zealand, when they saw a bright-red triangular object with white lights around its perimeter. It descended from the northeast at a 45° angle and moved across Tasman Bay. Around 8:00 p.m. they saw the object again, somewhat dimmer, from a friend's house on Matipo Terrace. The Nelson Evening Mail reported the sighting on April 12, 1958. The account follows the entry in George M.
