Background

MP George Chetwynd pressed further questions in the UK House of Commons, asking Secretary of State for Air George Ward what action was taken to identify unexplained UFOs. Ward replied that the unidentified reports were "not sufficiently precise." It followed an earlier question by Chetwynd in June 1958. Flying Saucer Review, Timothy Good and Isaac Koi's parliamentary compilation record it. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
