Lampasas, Texas: Couple sees six blue-white lights, two approach and sink into ground
At 12:30 a.m. on December 20, 1958, Franklin and Louise Richardson, driving near School Creek about 10 miles north of Lampasas, Texas, saw six blue-white lights hanging about 75 feet in the air; two approached to within 150 feet of the car and slowly sank into the ground.
Background
Franklin and Louise Richardson were driving on Spivey-Tapp Road near School Creek, roughly 10 miles north of Lampasas, hunting rabbits by headlight, when they spotted six blue-white lights, about four times the size of a car headlight, hanging about 75 feet in the air a quarter mile away. After a while the lights began moving in no discernible pattern, jumping around and blinking on and off. Two broke away from the others and rapidly approached to within 150 feet of the car before slowly sinking into the ground. Eberhart notes this was the first of several sightings the couple had over the next six weeks. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
