At 5:30 a.m. on July 13, 1959, farmwoman Eileen Moreland in Blenheim, New Zealand, saw a large object with green lights descend and hover at rooftop height, with two men visible inside.

Eileen Moreland was on her way to the barn to milk her cows when she saw a huge object, about 20–30 feet in diameter, with two intense green lights on its underside descend toward her and hover at rooftop height, bathing her in green light. Two rows of jets around its middle shot out orange flames. She could see two men inside, dressed in close-fitting suits of shiny material and opaque helmets. The jets came on again, the object tilted and shot up vertically at great speed with a high-pitched sound. The account follows the entry in George M.
