Background

At 5:30 p.m. on February 22, 1960, five people saw a formation of circular, whitish objects making a loud noise as they sped over Sarnia, Ontario. Canadian National Railway employees said the objects were definitely not helicopters. One witness described the sound as 'whirling dynamos.' The objects moved in formation on two levels, each projecting a beam of light toward the ground. The Montreal Gazette reported the sighting the next day. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
