At 7:00 p.m., Elizabeth Scott saw a cigar-shaped object hovering in the northwest sky at Pompano Beach, Florida. Its underside was brilliantly lit and its top was dark. The object remained motionless for 9 minutes, moved slowly south for 30 seconds, then sped up and disappeared rapidly to the south “like a flash of lightning.” The account follows the entry in George M.
