Background

At 6:30 p.m. Felix Carrizo and his wife were driving west on Route 5 near Alberti, Buenos Aires, in an NSU Prinz when his wife urged him to look right. He saw a large silver-gray cylindrical object hovering at an incline about 260 feet above a grove, which he estimated at over 650 feet long and 65 feet in diameter, with an intense blinding light from its center and four rectangular flashing lights like windows. He took a photograph with a telephoto-equipped camera against the dark, cloudy sky; the object then rose in rapid pulsing motions, leveled out and accelerated away, after 25 to 30 seconds in all. Researcher Vicente-Juan Ballester Olmos suggests the photo shows the Sun glaring through the car window. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
