Weymouth, Massachusetts: Couple woken by roar sees Saturn-shaped object over treetops
Around 1:00 a.m. on June 26, 1963, Enrico A. Gilberti Jr. and his wife Janet were woken at their home in Weymouth, Massachusetts, by a loud roar and saw a Saturn-shaped object with two brilliant lights move slowly above the treetops and follow power lines across a field.

Around 1:00 a.m. Enrico A. Gilberti Jr. and his wife Janet were awakened at their home on Commercial Street in Weymouth, Massachusetts, by a loud roar. From the window they saw a Saturn-shaped object moving slowly above the treetops, 100 feet off the ground and 300 feet away. Gilberti described it as “two hamburger buns one on top of another with a sandwiched piece of meat protruding around”; it was about 30–40 feet across and had two brilliant lights. The object followed some power lines across a field and disappeared to the northeast. Neighbors heard the deafening noise but saw nothing. The Quincy Patriot Ledger reported the case on July 8, 1963.
