Skjervøy, Norway: Fisherman sees gray object with windows, green light half-paralyzes him
At 6:30 p.m. on 21 or 22 August 1963, fisherman Helge Mikalsen at Kågsund near Skjervøy, Norway, saw a gray object with five windows and a smaller companion hover above the water; a green light from a window left him semi-paralyzed.
Background
At 6:30 p.m. Helge Mikalsen was fishing in Kågsund near Skjervøy, Norway, when he noticed a flame shooting from a mountain on the island of Arnøya to the west, coming from an object rising vertically. When the flame dissipated he saw a gray object, accompanied by a smaller one, moving east against the wind. As it hovered about 50 feet above the water some 450 feet away, the larger object (105 to 120 feet long) appeared to have five windows; the smaller one was about 9 feet wide. After a few minutes a green light shot from one window toward Mikalsen and he felt semi-paralyzed, and he noticed several dark things between the object and the water, as if it were drawing up material. After ten minutes it tilted up, accelerated and sped away to the north. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
