Carazinho, Brazil: Boy sees two oval objects land in a vacant lot and five helmeted beings
On the night of July 26, 1965, 14-year-old Adilon Batista de Azevedo in Carazinho, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, saw two oval objects descend over a vacant lot and five helmeted beings emerge.
Background
On the night of July 26, 1965, Adilon Batista de Azevedo, 14, was on his way with two friends to a movie theater on the outskirts of Carazinho, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Passing a vacant lot on Rua David Canaberra, they saw a light beam from a cloud illuminate an area about 33 feet across and heard a buzzing noise. The other boys ran, but Adilon stayed and saw an oval object land and hover about 3 feet above the ground, followed by a smaller object. Two beings about 5 feet tall in dark clothing and light helmets emerged from the larger object, and after 5 minutes three others came out of the smaller one and conversed with them; the beings reentered and the objects took off several minutes apart. Adilon had a headache that lasted five days. Eberhart's entry raises helicopters as a possible explanation. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
