Noblesville, Indiana: Top-shaped red object hovers over students' car, engine dies
At 9:50 p.m. on August 18, 1965, college students Michael S. Henry and a companion, driving 3 miles south of Noblesville, Indiana, lost radio and ignition as a large red-lit top-shaped object swooped down and hovered over their car.
Background
At 9:50 p.m. Michael S. Henry and another college student were driving 3 miles south of Noblesville, Indiana, when a large red-lighted object swooped down on their car. The radio and ignition went dead. The object looked like a top, with a large gray cone and a flat or slightly domed top. It hovered above the car for 1–2 minutes; then a bolt of light shone from it and it shot away, pausing briefly to pulse its red light before vanishing in a split second. Herbert S. Taylor lists the case in his update on vehicle interference reports in the International UFO Reporter (2011). The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
