Langenhoe, England: Motorcyclist's engine dies as domed disc descends, he feels paralyzed
At 1:00 a.m. on September 14, 1965, engineer Paul Green's motorcycle engine and headlight failed near Langenhoe, Essex, as an enormous domed disc with a pulsing blue light descended nearby.
Background
At 1:00 a.m. on September 14, 1965, engineer Paul Green was riding a motorcycle south of Langenhoe, Essex, near Langenhoe Hall Lane, when he heard a high-pitched humming and saw a pinpoint of blue light approach. The humming grew into a loud buzzing, his engine died and the headlight went out, and the light resolved into an enormous domed disc that tilted and slowly descended, with numerous round items on its underside. As Green walked toward it he felt paralyzed while the flashing blue light pulsed in rhythm with his heartbeat, and he felt a tingling like an electric shock; the object seemed to land near farmhouses. Green noted that another cyclist had had a similar problem; the next day his hair and clothes were charged with static electricity. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
