Miller County, Missouri: Farmer's stones stop in midair near landed object with beings
At 7:00 a.m. on 14 February 1967, a farmer in Miller County, Missouri, saw a landed object with several beings in overalls; stones he threw stopped in midair or bounced off, and he walked into an invisible wall.
Background
At 7:00 a.m., a farmer in Miller County, Missouri, noticed that his cows were all staring in one direction and saw a landed object about 360 feet away with several entities moving around it. He picked up some stones and approached; from about 30 feet the object looked like a hovering parachute or a grayish-green shell, and the creatures, apparently wearing overalls, scurried behind it and went inside. One stone he threw stopped in midair about 15 feet away and dropped to the ground; a second, aimed at the top of the object, bounced off something. At about 15 feet he walked into an invisible wall and could no longer see the object at all. The APRO Bulletin, Ted Phillips and the CUFOS HUMCAT index documented the case; later local accounts call it the “Space Penguins of Tuscumbia.” The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
