At 11:00 p.m. on 20 March 1967, a man and his daughter in Butler, Pennsylvania, saw two yellowish-white globes of light rush toward their car; the daughter heard voices saying "don't move," and moments later they saw five figures standing 10 feet from the car.
Background
At 11:00 p.m., a man and his daughter in Butler, Pennsylvania, drove out to look for lights his wife had seen earlier. After waiting with the car lights off, the man saw two yellowish-white globes of light at about 200 feet that moved toward the car on a parallel course, descended a quarter mile away and then shot toward the witnesses at 70–80 mph. The daughter heard a "chorus of voices" in her head repeating "don't move"; when the man switched on the headlights, the lights disappeared and the voices stopped. Moments later they saw five figures standing in an irregular semicircle 10 feet from the car, with slits for eyes and mouths, long blond hair, something like baseball caps and loose clothing. The witnesses drove away quickly to their minister's home. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
