Background
At 10:15 p.m. on July 31, 1967, Sidney Zipkin was driving a truck on Main Street in Churchville, New York, when he saw a cigar-shaped object about 50 feet long in a parking lot. It had greenish blinking lights underneath it, on or near the ground. He shone the truck's headlights on the object and saw two small men in shiny black uniforms board it, after which it took off straight up. The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reported the case on August 3, 1967; Diana Walsh Pasulka discusses it in Encounters (2023). The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
