Catia La Mar, Venezuela: Three huge plate-shaped discs rise from churning sea
At 5:00 p.m. on August 25 or 27, 1967, Ruben Norato on the beach at Catia La Mar, Vargas, Venezuela, saw a sudden movement of the water from which three huge plate-shaped discs rose and streaked out of sight.
Background
At 5:00 p.m. Ruben Norato, on the beach at Catia La Mar in Vargas state, Venezuela, saw a "precipitous movement of the water". From it arose "three huge plate-shaped discs" that streaked out of sight. NICAP's UFO Investigator reported the case in March 1968 in an article on submerging UFOs, and it is listed in Carl Feindt's water-UFO catalog and by Dolan. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
