Cotopaxi, Colorado: Car fails near silvery object, light beam leaves driver frozen
At 11:20 p.m. on 27 August 1967, Kenneth Flack's engine and lights failed near Cotopaxi, Colorado; he walked toward a silvery football-shaped object in a field and was knocked out by a bright light, and bystanders said he had stood frozen for five minutes.
Background
At 11:20 p.m., Kenneth Flack was passing a car near Cotopaxi, Colorado, west of Texas Creek, when his engine and lights failed. He pulled to the side of the road along with the car he was passing and a camper-trailer, and saw a large, silvery, football-shaped object in a field some 900β1,200 feet away. He approached it on foot and was hit by a bright light from the object that knocked him out. Bystanders from the other vehicles carried him back to the roadside and told him he had been frozen in a standing position for five minutes. Flack felt intensely cold and sleepy, and another driver gave him a ride back to Pueblo in a camper. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
