Beausejour: Red light lands, burns radioactive soil
A woman near Beausejour, Manitoba, observed a bright red object with blue and white lights that hovered, landed, and left a large smoldering area with radioactive traces persisting despite rain.

Witness and Observation
On May 31, 1967 at 23:30, a woman on a farm near Beausejour, Manitoba, Canada noticed an intensely glowing red light. It approached from the south, accompanied by a smaller blue light beneath it, and stopped about 115 metres away.
Landing Event and Traces
A white light on its underside grew brighter as the object hovered and lit up the ground. It finally landed and left a burned area of 27 by 46 metres. The soil showed radioactive contamination. On June 15 the site was still smoking, although rain had fallen several times.
Significance
The case is regarded as the second documented landing in Canada. It was reported in the APRO Bulletin (May/June 1967, p. 2) as "Second Landing in Canada" and is notable for physical evidence such as the radioactive soil.
