Background
At 2:00 a.m. Kaneto and Kioko Nobutoshi witnessed a “brilliantly illuminated window” hovering in the air in Ibiúna, São Paulo, Brazil. It appeared to be 30 feet in diameter and 10 feet high and illuminated a small part of the ground. The object remained stationary for the whole 45 minutes of the sighting and then vanished. Later examination of the ground underneath revealed a circle of flattened grass 25 feet in diameter, swirled counterclockwise, with some small secondary swirls.
