Pennsylvania Turnpike: Driver sees domed metallic object hovering in the clouds

At 1:45 p.m. on a day in August 1969, James D. Appleman was driving on the Pennsylvania Turnpike when he noticed a dome-shaped, metallic object hovering in the clouds ahead. He stopped the car and took his camera from the trunk, but by then the object was gone. The CUFOS Associate Newsletter reported the case in January 1981. The account follows the entry in George M.
