Background
At 5:30 p.m. on July 25, 1970, a witness came across a landed domed disc near Jabreilles-les-Bordes, Haute-Vienne, France. The object was about 20 feet in diameter and 10 feet high, with windows in the dome and portholes in its side, and stood on four legs. The witness was blinded by a yellow-orange light beam and paralyzed by fright. As the object rose with a whistling sound, he felt a wave of heat; at about 330 feet it jumped vertically and disappeared behind a mountain. Four imprints forming an irregular figure were found on the hillside. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
