Callery, Pennsylvania: Motorists see hovering luminous object with two figures in windows
At about 8:00 p.m. on April 14, 1971, Dennis Donaldson and Marion Lang, driving through Callery, Pennsylvania, encountered a white, luminous object hovering a few feet off the ground and saw two apparently 10-foot-tall humanoid silhouettes in its windows.

At 8:00 p.m. on April 14, 1971, Dennis Donaldson and Marion Lang were driving through Callery, Pennsylvania, when they noticed a bright yellow-white light paralleling the car, then crossing the road ahead and following the contours of nearby hills. Donaldson pulled off onto a side road, where they encountered a white, luminous object about 25–30 feet in diameter, like two bowls placed rim to rim, hovering a few feet off the ground about 250 feet away, with three round portholes below and five rectangular windows above, surrounded by an illuminated mist; the air smelled unnaturally sweet and clean. At about 8:20 p.m., the object emitted a shaft of white light from its top, and reddish flickering light was visible from the windows. When they saw the silhouettes of two humanoid figures, apparently 10 feet tall, in the rectangular windows, they drove away in fear. The account follows the entry in George M.
