Background
At 12:30 p.m. on May 23, 1971, Rudi Nagora and his wife were on a Sunday outing near Sankt Lorenzen ob Eibiswald, Styria, Austria. When Nagora got out of the car, he heard a whizzing sound and saw a silver, metallic object overhead moving in a zigzag pattern. He took 11 consecutive color photographs of it over a period of 10 minutes. Richard F. Haines later published an analysis of the images in the Journal of UFO Studies. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
