Logroño, Spain: Seminarist says luminous object entered his room, records radio sound
At 2:00 a.m. on 22 June 1972, seminarist Javier Bosque at the Colegio Escolapios in Logroño, Spain, reported that a small, football-shaped luminous object entered his room and touched his radio with a beam of light while he recorded the radio's sound.
Background
At 2:00 a.m. Javier Bosque, a seminarist of the order of St. Joseph Calasanz, was reading in bed in his room at the Colegio Escolapios in Logroño, La Rioja, Spain, when he noticed a bright light outside. The window began opening by itself, and a 2-foot-long, football-shaped, metallic, luminous object entered and approached the foot of his bed while his radio emitted a loud continuous sound, which he recorded on a cassette recorder. A beam of solid light from the object touched the radio twice and then the recorder; the object then rose and left through the window, and the radio sound weakened. The 8-minute recording was analyzed by laboratories in Spain, Brazil, France and the US. Robert H. Coddington concluded that it most likely captured the chance reception of an ordinary test transmission from a terrestrial broadcast station and does not match Bosque's narrative. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
