Background

Workers commuting home by train from nearby Debrecen saw about seven luminous, orange-colored ellipses floating high above Nyírábrány. The lights were still there as they walked home from the station; they were as bright as the full moon and stayed in a formation of three rows. The spectacle lasted 30 minutes. It was seen on the next four evenings in a row in the same part of the sky west of the village. On the last night one of the lights disappeared but returned to the same position in the formation. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
