South Kingstown, Rhode Island: Object passes over woman's car, lights and ignition falter
At 9:00 p.m. on April 10, 1973, Anne Marie DeBlasi, driving west on US Highway 1 near South Kingstown, Rhode Island, saw an orange-red object pass directly over her car as its lights and ignition faltered.
Background
Anne Marie DeBlasi was driving west on US Highway 1 near South Kingstown when she noticed an orange-red object moving slowly from the north. About one mile further on, it passed directly above her car, and the car's lights and ignition began to falter. It then flew off to the west, low over the trees. It now seemed a full 42 feet wide, yellowish-orange with a green vapor or haze around it. The account follows the entry in George M. Eberhart's chronology UFOs and Intelligence (CUFOS) and the sources cited there; it is not an independent determination by From Beyond Space.
